One word, “garbage”. I spent 1hr 10 mins on the phone to a CSR who I had to ask three times to speak with a manager regarding their contractor availability, then to be passed to a supervisor who also would not just transfer me to a manager. Then I finally spoke to a manager who read the contract to me and told me “I could not hire another company and have AHS pay for the reimbursement if I wasn’t satisfied with the company they hired”. I am owed a refund of $283.07 from AHS for overpayment. They told me the refund would be processed in 7 - 10 business days. That was a long time ago. I can't get my refund from this company!!!!! Run from this company!!!!

I put in a work order for AC not working. Contractor came out and coil had pinhole leaks. $500 to me $ 1600 to them. AHS called contractor and said NO. Replace unit $700 to them 7 modifications not covered $1900 for me! I called both AHS would not repair covered coil because new unit cheaper for them. I have been with AHS 25 years, never a problem ,always prompt with repairs small and large. What a joke? I have been waiting for a replacement/repair for my Tankless Water Heaters since March 2019. I am tired of dealing with the numerous excuses as to why I have not gotten closure on this yet. 1 star is too much for this company. I used their service for 5 years. after submitting my first claim for a leaking water heater over 8 days ago, still nothing has happened. I now have flooring damage and mold that AHS will not admit responsibility for. This will be my last year with this "service". If you are looking around for a company like this, I advise to look elsewhere. Don't put yourself through more of a headache by having to deal with them.

Bait and switch. The contract which heretofore was not revealed in its entirety before payment, stipulated that replacement appliances would be of similar design and function. We had a Bosch microwave built-in oven which is part of our kitchen ensemble. The specified replacement was a Whirlpool unit. Unacceptable. This apparently is American Home Shield modus operandi. Do not expect a one-to-one replacement for your warranted appliances . Most unhappy and distressed with the outcome.

Worst service by any company I've ever experienced ! They will make any excuse, if you are lucky to get a call back, so they won't have to fix anything. Most of the time you will spend countless minutes and days on the phone trying to get answers which you won't. Be smart and consider different company or you will regret it !!!
