As like a lot of other comments I have read, we are in a nightmare situation with our central AC repair. I have wasted so much time trying to speak to the 5 contractors/repair companies that have been referred to us by AHS for the repair and calling AHS numerous times. AC went out on July 6 and the first contractor AHS connected us with did not have availability until July 19. I have been waiting for 6 months to hear back regarding my dishwasher. Everytime I call I am placed on hold and either the appliance dept is unavailable or I am placed on an extensive hold or disconnected. As I type I have been on hold over 45 minutes with no answer yet they take my money out every month. I have asked for a supervisor and no one is ever available. What am I paying for monthly if I cannot get service???

I just cancelled American Home Shield. Terrible customer service, verging on insulting. They are NOT available 24/7 as advertised. I found that out when I needed emergency A/C service in the middle of the night and they were not available. No reimbursements. No apologies. No sympathy whatsoever. They charge a cancellation fee. Like everyone else is saying this company is a complete scam. Our fridge went out on 5/15 and we are now on the third repair company. The first one replaced a part and then said that the appliance couldn’t be fixed . The second replaced multiple parts filled the Freon and did a leak and blockage test and replaced partner the coil. Said to wait 24 hrs and if the unit still wasn’t cold they would report that it was internal and could not be repaired. We entered into agreement with American Home Shield in May of 2019. The first time we called to access the warranty service occured in the first week of November 2019. The repair man arrived and was unable to fix our problem of the home addition Furnace was not working.
