I placed an repair order on February 25th 2020 the vendor came out to look at my washer on Friday February 28th an order was placed for the part (THE PART WAS LOST) . It will be sent out again and will take another week for delivery to the vendor (March 16th, 2020) is the date I was given that the vendor may receive it. What should have only taken a week or two is going to take a month for repair to be completed. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!

American Home Shield is the most common insurance company for home buyers to be talked into at closing. They "claim" that if anything happens to your house in the first year they will fix it. That is an absolute blatant LIE! Please do yourself a favor and make sure you read the full contract before you pay the $900. Any time you call them you are charged a $75 service fee. Our Hot water heater failed and instead of fixing the issue, they closed our ticket twice and then tried to say they couldnt contact the service compa On 4/16/19 I filed a request to have my water heater replaced. They sent out a plumbing company that looked at the water heater, told me he needed to back to his shop because he wasn't prepared to work on the water heater. Bad customer service , I cancelled a gas dryer repair that I had scheduled , I received a bill for $100 from AHS which they said I was late paying , I didn't receive no service so why do i owe them anything . I have been trying to reach somebody at AHS to no avail. They do not have a chat line either , if you get through they'll put you on hold and no one answers. Repair person left house with natural gas leaking in house after repairing dryer! Could have been disaster. I reported this to American Home Shield and they said they could not refund my service fee because I did not follow procedure. When I came home and discovered my house filled with gas, instead of opening all windows and doors, cut off the gas and replaced the kinked gas line, I was to call American Home Shield and schedule a repairman to come out the next day.

I have been on hold for 1:25 mins waiting to speak to a supervisor for a AC repair that I reopened 3 times in the last month. With their charge of $75 per visit, they of course keep stating the issue is something different so each visit is $75 per trip. This is unacceptable, my open issue is that the AC is not properly cooling with 3 different trips in a month, they issue is still not resolved, and they are now saying a surge caused a power surge caused it to blow the compressor so not under warranty. My A/C has been out for almost 2 weeks now. It took a week to get them to send someone out to look at the unit. It is now taking a week to order a part. And, then they will have to schedule someone to come out to fix it. We live in Savannah, GA and they don't care that it is 100 degrees and that we are without air for 2 weeks with dogs and kids. I don't know what happened to this company. I had many friends who used to have home warranty with AHS and were all satisfied. I called in and told them my water pipe was leaking and I needed them to locate where and recommend a fix. I paid $120 for them to send someone out on a rainy day in which the report said "water pipe is indeed leaking". My air conditioning broke. I live in Florida and i was told minimum three days for a repair person to come out. I explained this is unacceptable due to the heat. I also told them if you can't help me cancel my policy. I was put on hold and told can't help bad did cancel the policy. I'm out 367.00 dollars for repairs. Can't believe this.
