We have gone 6 days without heat and they keep giving us the run around on the claim. They keep saying they have not seen the paperwork but the technician said he sent it in twice. The temperatures have been in the 20’s with no help help. Wish someone would fix it so we don’t have to use space heaters.

What a nightmare! Has anyone actually had a good experience with this company, because I would love to know. We have been in our new home one month and called for plumbing issues. The first plumber never showed up and the second two had ZERO interest in helping us. Just wanted more money before touching anything. My husband spent hours on the phone with AHS, only to be hung up on twice (and he was not being rude, just requesting to speak with a supervisor) we finally canceled our warranty. I called on 13 September which was 30 days after my microwave was serviced. I have not heard from anyone as of today. I normally have good service but not this time

I've been waiting for more than two weeks for the plumber to complete a job he initiated with my kitchen faucet. I've been calling since then and they keep telling me the part has not arrived. Second, I paid another $75.00 a week ago for another issue with my air conditioning. The same thing happened once again. The technician came here said he would send someone else the next day to complete the job and it's been already five days. No one has called and every time i call the company i get the same answer over and over again... read more

My combo bathroom fan/light with timer & humidistat went out 3 months after I purchased my new condo. Called American Home Shield & they said no problem, took my $75 and 3 different repair companies later & 33 days later - Still waiting. Last repairman said he needed to replace the fan & switch but needed authorization. Five days later still nothing. I could have bought the new fan for $125 - same model. I’ve had this warranty for four years and recently needed to use their services for my refrigerator. I went online and requested service. I even paid the 75 dollar service fee. After not hearing back from anyone, I called and scheduled a service call. I was told that someone would be out between the hours of 4-8. No one showed up. Two weeks later, after having paid the repair fee, I called up to cancel my account with AHS. This has got to be one of the biggest scams out there. I have been a faithful customer for almost two years. I my A/C stopped working, I put in a request. No one came to my home for weeks, the technician finally came, he said he had to order a part. Over a week goes by, he comes to install the part, he blows the main breaker for the electricity to my house. I have NO electricity. I called AHS, they claim they are putting in an order for a technician to call me- still hasn't happened. I called back today- NO order was placed.
