AHS is a scam. My dishwasher was blinking on "clean" button and not able to start because of it, it all started in the middle , of June 2019, now is August 7 still not fixed by contactor provided by AHS, the came several times changed parts started it and as soon as cycle finishes it goes back to same blinking problem. I don’t know where to begin with this review, if I could give this company negative stars I would. My ac stopped working on June19,2019. Multiple companies have come out and just added freeon and went on their way, no update as to what the root of the problem was. Finally a week ago, and hundreds of dollars later, a company came out and said it was a leak and that I needed a new coil. My hot water heater leaking since Sunday and today is Tuesday still waiting for American home shield approval to replace the water heater.

I call November 4th 2019 for my refrigerator. The contractors was no good. Are supposed to reimburse the fee they didn't do it. They lied to me every time I call them. I heard them laughing at me in the background. I wouldn't wish this experience on my enemy. It should be a law against how they handled me. December 11th and the refrigerator still not fixed and must $75 have not been returned . I've been with them for 6 years. Unbelievable but true.

I have an operational issue with my AC Unit. Home Shield put me in contact with the company Total Air Care to resolve my issue. The unit after 3 visits by Total Air Care is STILL not operational. Total Air Care has NOT shown up for 2 scheduled appointments and I am still without AC now for 2 weeks!!! Not happy nor satisfied. Angry and Frustrated over the reliability of Total Air Care and American Home Shield

I contacted AHS 8/11 regarding my unit not cooling until after the sun goes down. The vendor arrived to asses and fix the problem 8/14. I was told that the unit just needed to be cleaned which is not covered because it's maintenance. I paid an additional $225 on top of the $125 trip charge to have the unit cleaned. My house never cooled. I called the next morning and they sent the same person out on 8/16. Mind you the first trip they tech never went into my attic. On Friday evening late my furnace made some loud noises then quit. I had just had major back surgery (fusion) & was moving slow and on pain pills. I immediately called my repair company that has done yearly maintenance on my A/C & furnace. They came out Sat morning.Reputable company. Upon inspection they determined the furnace motor was out but could not obtain a new one until Tuesday as it had to be ordered & that model was not available in our area. At this time of Covid19 technicians to is tall the microwave came without mask or gloves. This happened on two diferente visits. I did not felt dafe when they came over. It was a risk for my family with all this crisis happen right now. Also I was charged 2 times for the $75 fee when I was told I was going to be charged only one time $75
