I have been dealing with this problem for over a YEAR! I called AHS for a repair on my air condition unit. The company they sent has yet to fix my unit. The company came out to my property many time which I had to take off work. My unit is still not fixed! It is over 100 degrees in my home in the summer time a ONE window unit that was offred will not cool ALL the members in my home. All I ask is the my unit get fixed and for AHS to stop giving me the run arround. They take there money out of my account EVERY month like clock... read more

AHS offers contract cancellation at any time, however, read the disclaimer on another page. An administration fee is attached to what they call early cancellation. This is explained in legal detail on the page paragraph L but the "anytime" cancellation policy is very misleading. It may lead you to believe it is a clean break from AHS due to dissatisfied service or reimbursement decisions on their part.

If I could give this a minus 5 star i wouldnt think twice. This is UNDOUBTEDLY the Worst Nightmare of a home warranty ins program Beyond your Imagination!!! They Lie to You. YOU Cant Talk to a mngr, they tell YOU one will call you Within 24hrs,(THEY DONT)!!! Their Vendors are Bottom of the Barrel!! They will Double Bill You. Long wait time, given placated excuses for poor service, customer service spoke broken English, 2 months without A/C because of poor follow up.

Prompt service after the telephone hold time- can be up to an hour wait time for a person to answer. Never received a call back when signed up for call back. I think they just need to hire more customer service people.

Two years ago my central gas furnace failed to light in early December. It took nearly a week to get someone out to look at it. Finally the wrong size gas furnace that could not heat the house. I had to pay hundreds of dollars to meet new building standards. Weeks later after many complaints another company was sent out and installed the correct sized furnace that worked identically to the old furnace. Then two years later my built in microwave failed. Plumber came ot to fix a leaky toilet. Toilet was leaking worse after they left. Tried calling them right away to get them to come back and could not get in touch with anyone. Got a call the next day only to find out it would be a week before they could come back. Inspected the toilet to see if I could finish the repair myself and noticed the part that was installed was faulty.

Wish I could give zero stars. Absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with. And unfortunately I have been a customer for 15+ years. They have taken my money for almost 2 decades but when my AC compressor went out 6 days ago - yes they made me wait in TEXAS in 106 degree weather with my son, pets and myself, a heart patient, for 5 whole days before they denied my claim on a TECHNICALITY! I have not had working plumbing for almost 3 days now and first went through the website and heard nothing from the contractor within 24 hours (which it states I would). After calling the contractor and finding out nothing would be available for 4 days I tried calling AHS. Now I have been dealing with your automated phone service for the past hour and have been disconnected three times, once after asking the customer service rep not to place me on hold (which she did anyways).
