In regards to a service call for my Central Gas Heat. As stipulated in my AHS contract, I have bi-annual service calls on my heating an air. The most recent identified significant cracks and rust which when they completely crack or burst, carbon monoxide will be emitted. The Coverage is actually very god, but, communicating with them is AWFUL!!!! They don't have enough employees to answer their phone, so expect to be on hold for HOURS! Their website "chat" option? Good luck with that. It doesn't work and even if it did, it is rarely available. Send them an email and they will get back to you, right? Fuhgeddaboudit! AHS - Sorry to say but you guys SUCK. Worst ever support. We have had to deal with AHS for 2 issues: 1. Washer 2. Garage door Let me start by saying that their support is one of the worst ever! The absolute worst service ever! I called AHS because one of our air conditioner units was not working. We have 3 units, the bedroom was not cooling. Keith came and told me to turn off other units. He then went into our attic and determined that roof rats had eaten through the lines going across the attic to the outside unit, even though he said there was lots of rat poison in attic. This company is a scam, they're trying to tell us we'll have t pay $1075.00 for A/C repair because it's not up to code. We purchased this home a little over 2 years ago, and it's only 8 years old. They also write their own reviews, chat line doesn't work, if you try to call resolutions it's a 20 minute wait or more. Big rip off

I have had AHS for about a year. I went through them to get my washing machine repaired, and it has now been 23 days and my washing machine is still not repaired. That should speak for itself, but I'll go on. The contractor they utilized to come out and fix the washing machine has been horrible; they don't answer their phone or return calls, they have taken nearly a month to get a part, they didn't get the right parts...just an unending supply of excuses and poor customer service. Honest review, not one filtered on the AHS website. Read the very fine print in this warranty - there are so many exclusions had I known before closing I would have shopped around. Some of the contractors they send will lie about work performed to make themselves look good to AHS, but you will still have a problem and/or and exclusion. It makes me very angry that they take advantage of consumers. I purshased the AHS warranty to cover my heating and air conditioning systems. I was made aware today that AHS only covers part of the repair of the "heating system". AHS has declined to provide the necessary replacement of the heating system control panel. Whenever the thermostat calls for heat the entire system shuts down because of this part that needs to be replaced. I am now being forced to pay an additional $450 to replace this panel myself.
