Don’t buy home insurance from this company,very poor customer service ,they’ll leave you waiting on the phone line for hours ,they’ll only answer the phone if your buying insurance BUT not for service.PLEASE do your self a favor and stay away.

One word.... Horrible. You try to submit a claim and after waiting a 1/2 hour you can't understand most of what the person on the other end is saying or if they understand what you are trying to convey. A huge communication barrier. Very frustrating. We had to contact AHS four times because there was no answer from the contractors they were supposedly lining up for us. It took nearly 2 weeks just to get a faucet fixed and we are still trying to get reimbursed for the getting the faucet and paying the contractor after he subm... read more

Horrible service. Called in Nov 2018 for a broken dishwasher. The contractor sent out did not do anything the first day. Then came back two weeks later to again order a useless part and admitted he did not know anything about this dishwasher. Then he ordered a computer board for it. Weeks go by and I called the company and they said they called us if we wanted the money for the part. We never received this call. Thus the part was not ordered. I had a pipe leaking water underneath my tub. AHS sent out a tech who stated it was due to excessive force from someone trying to remove a drain in the tub and this cause the pipe to break open. Even though AHS contract says they will cover improper repairs or installation - they refused to fix the pipe and the tech made a bigger hole in my ceiling where the water leaked through. AHS told me to find my own plumber and get reimburse. Found one and paid him but having trouble getting reimbursed by AHS...they don’t return phone calls.

Very frustrated with how a simple service call been taken care of. Our refrigerator ice machine had stopped working, we called AHS, they sent a company called Premier Appliance Services, its been almost 8 weeks and the problem is still not resolved, My wife and I have spent over 3 hours on the phone with AHS and still no resolution, Premier Appliance Services, has a yelp 1.2 rating. This company makes getting a home warranty useless. To respond to a water heater repair 5 days later is unacceptable. They use cheap companies to respond to service calls because they are as unreliable as American Home Shield. Say and do two different things. Buyer beware, go to a different company

Terrible customer service, long holds and CSRs and "supervisors" sound identical and robotic. Will offer patchwork solutions so their contribution is minimal and will look for any excuse to not pay for major repairs. If your hvac needs replacing they WILL NOT replace it and you will have to pay for $$$ freon every couple of months until the system fails and they find a way to void your warranty by their contractor's negligence.

Trusting that AHS, would be there for me is an understatement, they do not care what situation they leave you in, but that fee will come out of your account every month, the customer service is a nightmare, do not return calls but lie and say they did, not understanding at all. Coverage is staged and not honored, it is a scam.
