Told we needed a part for our water pump. Said they would order it and be back in couple of days. That was in November 2016. Every time called it was so coming in any day, then it was the weather, then it was roads closed. Servicing company had to come from an hour and a half away. No one local to service our needs. Finally after numerous calls and a call to our realtor they finally agreed to replace the unit in February. We went all winter without heat thanks to them. We have been going around in circles with horrible contractors for 4 months! AHS cares more about their contractors than customers.
I will never use this company again. There is an average of a 45 minute wait to talk to a representative. The representatives tell you what they think you want to hear. They made me pay twice for a service call that was misdiagnosed and they won't refund their $75.00 service call fee. The HVAC companies they contract with won't make emergency service calls on a weekend or in the evening when the representatives tell you that they will. Tenant's dryer has been broken for a month and a half. Non responsive from company.- two repairmen, no fix, several days go by between parts being ordered or authorization for next step.
Our 12 year old Whirlpool range went out just after new years. We contacted AHS within 12 hours of failure of our appliance and they sent a contracted repairman to look at the unit. The contractor complained that it was his "first day under this contract with 'American "Junk" Shield' and he didn't know how he was "going to like the company yet". Called to talk to someone twice. Each time the hold time was over 40 minutes
I've had you guys for over 4 years and I'm noticing that your service is getting worse and worse. You're hiring companies that are not reputable and you're forcing people like myself to lose thousands of dollars worth of food because you're sending people out there really don't know how to fix things. So far 2017 we went a whole month without water because of sending companies that are not able to fix things or know what they're doing and the same thing happened with my refrigerator for months they kept breaking down I lost ... read more
replacement A/C unit not good quality. Have had 3 service calls in a three(approximately) period
They didnt fix the issue and told me it was normal wear and tear after spending money for repairs and waiting 2 weeks
