Lengthy process. On hold at least two times for over 35 minutes. Help is not knowledgeable. Can't transfer calls. Can't talk to same person. Each person tells you something different. what they tell you doesn't happen. Not happy.
Until the latest experience involving our hot water heater, we had been very satisfied. The water heater experience was a total disaster on your part. We called in for an initial evaluation and found out several days later that it would be several days more yet, all of that time without hot water! We called another company and they came out that day and replaced it. Absolutely horrible , did not repair my a/c the unit is 25 years old , Homeshield said is was due to it being dirty.The unit is25 years old.Total rip-off....have been with the company 10 plus years...
It took forever to communicate with them on the phone. Outrageous wait times. My washer had to be replaced and they replaced it with a model that did not have the same features as the one I had. The offered model was a base model, and to receive anything better you had to pay additional money. After receiving it and trying to get in touch with them about the problems, they informed me that they did not have to replace it with LIKE functions.
I have paid AHS Warranty company a monthly fee for 10 years and by the way I mention increases each year. Then you pay a service fee each time a repair technician comes out to address the issue (outside of same problem repair window). Okay, that is the process; I am okay with that. But what I am not okay with is you would think I work for AHS because I, the consumer, am the one calling to schedule SERVICE REQUEST REPAIR identified as EXPEDITED (due to medical concerns of disabled children) with the assigned repair tech. wait times to talk to someone ALWAYS over one hour had two companies and 4 different workers trying to fix air conditioner had to finally hire someone that knew what they were doing will cancel as soon as I am able to speak to someone to get deductible returned for work not completed.
4 vendors unable to help and are supposedly vetted as A+ by AHS 45+ minute wait on phone per call No follow-up from AHS Complicated instructions to get reimbursed from AHS for contractor service. Fuzzy logic for paying a contractor, what’s covered and getting reimbursed. No resolution on phone and no follow-up after contractor visits. I have spent 4 hours trying to get through to these people. The company they recommended is horrible. It has taken literately a month to get a simple leak from our refrigerator's water dispenser fixed.
I don't like the fact that if a company doesn't fix things properly and you don't like their service that i as a customer do not have the right to refuse their service and use another AHS contractor.
