Had problems with getting parts. Some confusion between AHS and the contractors.6
We have had some very knowledgeable service representatives but a few times their analysis were not correct

Answered our call quickly. Service responder called within an hour
I can never get same day nor next day service. And most of the time the tech ahs to order parts which makes the delay even longer.
Response to service calls is very slow - not AHS, but the time it takes for someone to actually arrive is 1-2 weeks.
Fairly prompt service after making service appointment. Serviceman was very polite and promptly input his service call response into the system. Once in the system, because no repair parts available, I received American Home Shield's replacement offer quickly. Offering several ways to receive the money. I chose buying new appliances with a reimbursement check for the amount offered. Currently waiting for the check in the mail.
American Home Shield's prices keep increasing, but some of the company's that work for them are not real good.It's a lock of the draw situation.
The technician explained what he was going to do in a timely manner.
