I love American Home Shield. Every claim I have get resolved or a great explanation why ot wasn't. Always timely and accurate with the time of service
It used to feel more worth it when the yearly fee and the service fee were lower but as prices have increased the value feels less balanced. They often also send out subpar contractors that do temporary fixes and not high quality work.
Both claims that I've filed have been promptly actioned.
Took too long for my unit to be fixed only to find out it will need to replaced and there will be a large out of pocket to replace.
They answer right away but the prices are ridiculous.
Now that AHS has also bought its competitor OneGuard, they can charge whatever they want for premiums. I just saw a 50% increase in my annual renewal.
American Appliance Repair has been great for all our service needs. I highly recommend them.
I like the security knowing that the product will be replaced if it cannot be repaired; however, I also know that the replacement product will never be the same quality we had . We had a microwave replaced. The old one was a Dacor and the new replacement was a GE Monogram.
This program has been a life saver with our appliances.
