I had bad experiences with 2 contractors sent to my home , had bad experiences with them. However, the customer service reps took care of me, the 2nd time around, but it took a long time to get my money back. I felt like I was getting the runaround for a while. My last experience went well, and customer service rep changed the original contractor that was going to service my washer. The reason for that was because that contractor was rated one star. Very pleased she did that

America Home Shield has been a great service. When I first bought my home, there were very few issues in the course of a year and I I used to wonder if it was worth it. Over time, I've come to realize the peace of mind, knowing that if any issue arises the cost to me is minimal makes it totally worth subscribing... It's almost a no-brainer at this point. Housing issues that come up can add up and become costly. When issues do happen I can personally say that there isn't much hassle filing a claim with AHS. They're such a goo... read more

When it works, it's great. But because the A/C guy said it had to be a plumber, then the plumber said it had to be an A/C guy, water leaked under my air conditioner for weeks, and now I have secondary damage. So was it finally fixed well? Yes. Before that, not so much. Also, I wish there was a way to request two services at the same time from the same person. (If there was, I couldn't find it.)
