A sewage stack was cracked and leaking. I did the claim right online and within an hour or so, the gentleman called me from the pooling company to set up a time to come and look at it. Within a couple of days, it was fixed. Everything is working in tip-top shape. Everything was clean. They were very professional and very polite. They were all-around good guys.

We were hearing a whistling sound from our pressure release valve. And while that was the main issue, there were a few other little peripheral items that we had put on the ticket as well that CKC Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning was able to look at. Someone came out this past Monday, and they did their job. The tech was fine. I called American Home Shield on a Friday, and the tech was out Monday. I call AHS for our claims and the process is easy.
I filed a claim through Home Shield for a broken garage door. I went online and I submitted the claim. I wasn't actually there. But it was wonderful because within half an hour, the contractor was at my house. My garage door was stuck open, and I just moved. Everything I owned was in the garage. It had been incredibly hot this summer in Georgia and the AC didn't seem like it was getting cool enough. We had to run it almost all day and our electricity bills were up $225. They usually run about 150, but that's when it's not quite as hot. But at the time, we had 60 days in a row that were over 95 degrees. We have a swimming pool, and Pool & Spa Doctors came out after we got solar. Our thermosolar company left the handle open, and then the other side closed. So, we came home to a puddle on the ground. We called Home Shield, then they sent out Pool & Spa Doctors. They said, “Oh, it's because one side is open and the other side is closed.” He turned the handle and said that was it. We woke up pretty early in the morning with the power flickering in the house. The lights were turning on and off and the refrigerator’s compressor was turning on and off and beeping and the alarm was going off. I tried to figure out what the problem was. When I flipped the breakers, we lost all power to all outlets in the house. Submitting a claim to American Home Shield was easy online. Ace's Garage Door & Repair came to handle my issue and the gentleman they sent was knowledgeable. Previously, techs had put the wrong size of springs on my garage door but the main cause for my issue was a bad button on my wall. The tech from Ace's explained everything thoroughly before he did the work. He did not overcharge on anything nor did he make an offer unrelated to my warranty. I was really satisfied with the service.
