My first claim was taken care of. My second one I paid my visit fee at the beginning of June. We are in July and my request hasn't been solved. CNC is the contractor, the first visit was a no call no show. The second they didn't do anything as they needed to submit a quote to American Shield. As of July 3rd we still haven't received our service. There is no easy way to communicate with American Shield Amer
The last company did not show up at all, could not get help from AHS
The agents assisting me have been professional, efficient, empathetic and courteous when filing my claim. I have been on both sides where they have repaired my appliance or replaced them, the companies I have dealt with have been, professional and knowledgeable.

I purchased a Home Warranty when I put my home up for sale. The Realtor suggested this as an incentive to the prospective buyer (s) as peace of mind to help the sale go through. Before I actually sold my house I had an occasion to use this warranty to get my outdoor AC unit replaced which for a small deductible ended up incresing the sale price as a positive feature. I feel anyone either selling or buyers who did not receive a home warranty check put American Home Shie;d.
