I like that I get a timely response to my service requests and the contractors are always professional.
I know that AHS is flooded now, especially with more and more people homebound and working from home, and probably using appliances more and what have you across the board. My husband called AHS to submit a claim because the AC wasn't blowing cold air. The contractors came on the same day. It was on a weekend too, which was unexpected. They were great. The AC outside wasn't getting power, so the AC guys referred it to an electrician. I had flipped the breaker, but apparently, I didn't flip it hard enough so the Preferred Electrical Services tech just basically pushed it and it came on. Home Shield sent out some good quality people, and they came out pretty quick.
My recent experience with American Home Shield was great. I called and submitted a claim through them. They got on top of it right away. They were punctual. The tech that came was very knowledgeable and we really enjoyed the service. The claim was for a dryer and a stove, and they worked on them both at the same time. They didn’t have a contractor. It was like a week later, so we had to wait for a week, but it was okay.
The AC is working great now after Royal Flush came out. They were good. They did what they needed to do. They didn't take a long time. They had a closed mask and booties on their feet, too. I love American Home Shield. Me and my sister live together so there's no man in the house, and we don't know how to fix all that stuff. I'm also a single mom and a disabled veteran, so, it's awesome that we pay the $75 fee for someone to come out, and the stuff gets fixed. We had a claim for a dryer that's five years old or a little bit more. The timing was incorrect. It wouldn't dry thoroughly and it would run but then it would shut off. The process was fairly easy. Five minutes on the website, put it on the app, the guy contacted me the next day, and he was there within 24 hours and found out the problem and ordered the parts. We filed a claim for some filters and some grids in my pool. The contractor called and kept me informed, ‘cause I'm in Minnesota and they were in Arizona where my second home is. So far, I'm very happy with American Home Shield. They were prompt, timely, and they did a good job.
The lights were dimming and flickering all day long. I called American Home Shield and let them know that we were having a problem. They told me who the contractor would be. Then Electric Service Professionals called me back. They came out and were excellent. Everything seems to be fine. We were quite satisfied. I've had American Home Shield for 23 years and we only had one issue that's gone by the wayside. Almost every single case, it's been fine.
