The lights were dimming and flickering all day long. I called American Home Shield and let them know that we were having a problem. They told me who the contractor would be. Then Electric Service Professionals called me back. They came out and were excellent. Everything seems to be fine. We were quite satisfied. I've had American Home Shield for 23 years and we only had one issue that's gone by the wayside. Almost every single case, it's been fine.

We thought there was a leak. The tech from AM PM Plumbing did very well. He took care of the problem. I've been pleased with Home Shield. I've had great results. I even recommended it. A warranty is good to have because things break down. I can't afford new all the time and repairs. It helps with my limited income.

We have been a customer for many years and have never been disappointed with AHS.

Camden Service Center had to fix an outlet in the garage because it burned up. I noticed a little burn mark where you plug appliances in, and then several appliances went out. When the tech took the thing out of the wall, most of it was gone. It was burnt up. It just crisped up and fell apart. It could have started a fire and killed us. Submitting the claim to American Home Shield was about as simple as drinking water. As far as the contractor, it was like having your best friend over. They were beyond professional.

I called AHS because whenever we’d wash a load of clothes, the washer would dance off across the floor. The technician came out here and he diagnosed the problem right away and fixed it. But he just didn't fix it enough. He needs to come back and do some more fixing on it. I've been very pleased with American Home Shield. My wife's niece is involved with American Home Shield and our daughter as well. The process in submitting a claim has greatly improved. I've learned, after a lot of aggravation, is don't phone in a claim. P... read more

I had a water leak underneath my home, and I had to shut off water to the property. Leaving it off, it caused a couple of faucets to start dripping. I called American Home Shield once I discovered it was leaking. A previous company that I had gone through to Home Shield had done the repair. So it was a situation where I thought they would warranty. I did call the plumbing company, Taz Plumbing, and they pretty much said, "Well, we give a 30-day warranty." I was little upset about it because it caused secondary damage. The sam... read more

The ceiling fan light didn't work. The contractor that came out was smart and professional. He wore mask and did everything appropriately. I thought the whole fan would need to be replaced. He found the problem and fixed it. We even tried a few other things that were helpful. He went above and beyond duty. Great job. We also had a pool issue and AHS resolved it, but I found that they didn't cover something I thought was covered. Overall, American Home Shield is a good deal, easy, and fast.

Everything went well. The contractor realized that the wires had crossed and was touching so it would automatic turn on the heat and AC at the same time. He went back in and redid the wires. He was good and very knowledgeable. I also have a claim for a garbage disposal and I got a leak in the wall. The contractor already came out but they had to order a part. He said it should be about Friday and that would drain off. He was good too.

Our air conditioner was running continuously. I made a claim with American Home Shield online and it was really simple. Lasseigne’s Heating and A/C came out the next day. The tech said he would be here at 8:30 and he got here right before then. He was very professional and polite. Everything was fine. He said he cleaned the ducts. He had to spray water inside them from the outside because it had dirt in there. He also added Freon to the AC. The unit's running fine now. Before, we were having so many issues with it being supe... read more
