We had a plumbing claim with AHS where City Plumbing came out and it went perfectly. They did everything we needed them to do and the tech came out in a matter of days. He checked everything out for us and explained everything he was looking at. All in all, our experience with AHS has been pretty good and the warranty works the way it's supposed to. We call, they send technicians, and the issue gets fixed.
Exceptional service provided by customer service and technicians. Work done in a timely fashionand and clear explanation of any problems found and how to continue with preventive maintenance not included in the normal wear and tear.
The AC would not push out cool air and then it just stopped working. Ethan came and fixed the problem within 15 minutes. He was great and he was very polite. Submitting the request was extremely easy as well and then I had to call American Home Shield to follow up on one of my requests because I was playing phone tag with the technician to get him out. I love American Home Shield. I used to be a realtor and I always recommend my customers to get them. Even if it is a new house, you just never know. When our air conditioning stopped working, PlumbRUs got totally inside there and made it work. They were nice guys. In fact, I had them do some more work afterwards. I was happy enough with them. The technician from Phil’s Good A/C & Heating came out and he was professional. He repaired the existing unit and it's running okay now. However, when I called in, I had to wait four to five days before he came. After he came, then I had to wait about three or something more days before the part came.
I used to get the appointment immediately. For example, last time, when I just put the appointment, I got it the next day. The waiting time is very less so far.For the dryer fixing, the technicians came from Sears. It was the partner in that area. The first time when they came, they replaced immediately. But the second person didn't have the part, so he needed to go to the shop again and come back in the evening. It took a longer time, but that's fine. They didn't have the part easily. I was originally gonna call American Home Shield because I had some questions. I had two things at the same time so I was gonna try to do them at once and I didn't know if I could have two open cases. I needed to get those done and I had a vacation plan. We thought that our sump pump wasn't working and the tech walked me through how it works. It wasn’t turning on and he explained that it wasn’t broken. He told us how we could fix it ourselves to make sure next time that it's working. He also explained the equipment to me. We had other claims with American Home Shield. We've had a couple other people come out once for our dishwasher and once for our heating.
