The refrigerator was making a horrible noise. The contractor came and repaired it, and it doesn't make that noise anymore. He was great. American Home Shield has done what they said they do. They covered what they said they’d cover. The only thing I don't like is the cost. I didn’t realize that insurance cost money.
Everything was good with Prime Plumbing. They were on time and they were very professional when they came. I was doing some cleaning, and I wasn't paying attention and flushed a washcloth down the toilet. I had a bit of a backup. I also had a leak in the upstairs bathroom, so they came out and took care of those problems. I have been a customer for 10 years and have been so pleased with my service that I have renewed year after year....Within the last few years I have seen a decline in customer service as most of the calls are being outsourced to agents who cannot help the way agents in the past have. Our microwave went out and American Home Shield sent a repairman to check it out. The repairman was very good. Then the next day or two, I heard from American Home Shield that they were gonna replace it. I don't have the check yet for the replacement. But the experience was easy and satisfactory.
I've had Home Shield on my actual house I live in for 15 to 20 years. And then, I just had it on them home I rent to people since April. I knew to put it on there because I've had it on my own residence for so long. A lot of people like to speak to someone actual on the phone. But to me, it's better going to the app and doing it yourself. I called because I have a tenant in my home in Virginia and they had some leaks in the bathroom, toilet, and sink. American Home Shield is super easy to use. Normally, they provide fast service. I had one experience last summer when my air conditioning went out and they couldn't find anybody. But it was the middle of summer so I get it. It was nothing against them. They are always finding somebody for me to fix whatever I need. Recently, I called in to have 2 repairmen, one to repair a faucet and one to look at a couple kitchen appliances. I had a really good experience with the faucet company. AHS is the only home warranty company that has truthfully been worth the money. I have has six different home warranty companies over the years. All but AHS were so difficult to deal with that I never continued after our contract ended. AHS is the first home warranty company that I have continued to use. Thank you AHS for honoring your contract and providing professional repair companies to repair and replace our home items.
We had a claim for an outlet that was not working. At first, AHS told me that it was gonna be two weeks for the tech to come out, and I told them that was too long. Then the rep literally put me the very next day. So it was very nice. The tech was good. He fixed the problem.
The technician, ******, from Hopwood Electric came on time and was very efficient. He took the time to explain what the issues had been with the outlet and corrected the problem.
