I will never call Pro Connect again. Overpriced, incompetent and shotty materials. They replaced rollers on my dryer $300. 3 months later same problem, the technician said it was the heating element. I have a GAS dryer, 2 other technicians said there isn't a heating element on a gas dryer. Another company replaced the thermostat. 6 months later, same problem. The technician fixed the exhaust tube & reset the fuse. 1 month later, same problem. He said it needs new rollers. The dryer is 10 years old. The original roller... read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Dishwasher repair. Not Draining. Came out. Said hose was clogged. Broke off end of hose trying to unclog it by hitting it on my railroad tie wall. Left and returned with new hose. Installed. Ran cycle on dishwasher and still not draining. Called in. Would send technician back out a week later. Called morning of appointment by technician asking to pay in cash. Called American Home Shield. Told that was not policy. Would send out new technician. I have had a frustrating and disappointing experience with your service in Pittsburgh. Since Saturday my appointment has been rescheduled multiple times. It is ridiculous that you run business in this manner, and equally surprising that you have customers. You realize the need to reschedule one hour after appointment, not once but multiple times. Your customer care support, has no information or control over the matter.

I had a pretty straightforward issue -- the plastic that connected my dishwasher rack to the tracks broke and had to be replaced. It cost over $400. The fix looked ok but we were traveling a lot over the next month so barely used the dishwasher. But 33 days later, the rack was falling off -- faulty connection. I called and explained we hadn't noticed because we were traveling, but they said you only have a 30 day window to report issues and wouldn't budge.

AHS ProConnect was nice in how quickly they responded to our service call. Two men came out, I explained the problem, and they then spent about 15 minutes disassembling and reassembling the ice maker unit. They mentioned that they did not see anything wrong. The website stated that the diagnostic fee was $79, but they noted that I owed them $183. They did not fix the problem, and with their dishonest advertising, would not ask for them back ever again.

Summary; No show, no call, no show, no service. Our dishwasher wouldn't drain. I called American Home Shield ProConnect on Friday, and they set up a repair for Saturday between 1-3 PM. At 3:30 nobody showed or called. I called the main office, and they told me the tech had a family emergency. They rescheduled me for Monday between 10 AM and noon. I have been an American Home Shield customer for almost 14 years. A service call was $15 or $20 when I started; now, it's $75 per service call. Over the last 6 six, AHS has gotten worse by contracting with the worse of, the worse for service. These types of businesses would go out of business if not for AHS, paying little to nothing for their service. Now AHS has contracted out its customer service to some Asian country. Pro connect Miami (American Home Shield) is not a reliable company to work with; on July 19, 2022, they sent a technician to my home to repair the dishwasher. That day he collected the money to buy the broken part, and he never return to finish the job. They rescheduled the appointment three times, but the technician never show up.
