American Home Shield (AHS) ProConnect is hands-down the worst company for appliance repair. A technician came to our home on 5 July 2022 to repair our GE Monogram refrigerator, as both the refrigerator and freezer were not cooling. The tech diagnosed a non-functioning inverter/control board and did have the part in his truck, so we opted for the repair, which was quoted at $737.23. Wow was I extremely disappointed.. I have a Dog and a Cat.. and unfortunately my dog had an accident. The guy (Joe) that came to clean the carpet got the spots and the smell out. Which was good. However he decided to clean or steam over some Cat litte that was on the carpet.. While he was here i told him that i think he went over some cat litter and that that spot didnt look right. American Home Shield ProConnect in the Tampa Bay, Florida area is great! I got a same day appointment for a broken frig, and Jesus Colmenares was excellent! He arrived during the appointment window, diagnosed the frig's problem, took care of getting the parts and came back 2 days later to fix the frig. Now the frig works fine. Jesus is professional, friendly and answered all of our questions respectfully and completely. I was SO glad he was the one coming back to complete the repair. American home shield is worst place for schedule at San Diego. I have schedule appointment for AC repair on May 21st 2022 on website a week earlier. They called me to re-schedule on Tuesday (24th). They have canceled the appointment at 10 AM on Tuesday. They could not find any Pro-connect tech. I have taken the day-off for the repair. They should have schedule it earlier and inform me the cancelation so that I should not have taken the day off. It is vey bad management. It is arediculous customer service.

I have a tankless water heater that hit the fritz. I called Proconnect because it seemed to be an electrical issue (the breaker kept tripping when we ran the hot water) and one of the transistors looked like it was melting. I asked if they could send someone who had experience with tankless water heaters, and they scheduled an appointment for the next day. Just had two repairmen come to my home today. Were late by almost two hours. Came in took apart my fridge said they needed to go get a fan they would be back by 2:30 haven't shown up they took the fan that belongs to me and my fridge is unusable at this time. What kind of service is this?

Technician was not competent and am awaiting a third visit to fix the damage he caused and to address my initial issue. Totally FRAUDULENT company! They charged me $600 for replacing the WRONG part in my fridge and damaging my fridge in the process. They are REFUSING to refund me or order the appropriate part to fix the problem. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS THEY ARE FRAUDULENT AND WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY.

I rate them 0, cheating company. Misled people to book FREE estimate, but end of charging people $99 for less than 5 minutes looking around hot water heater.

I scheduled a repair appt for my dishwasher. The gentleman came on time, gave me an estimate to repair and was supposed to come back on Monday. I call on Monday to see what time he would arrive and asked me who I was, what my address was and what he was supposed to repair.
