This company that i was referred to by my real-estate agent. Was unbelievable in what I was offered my furnace stopped working after three months of moving in. I had it inspected prior to closing and was told it had issues but could get 1 to 2 years before it would need to be replaced. Had two companies to give me estimates both came in around $13,000. Scam, I would avoid. Sump pump went out, water flooded into my home. Had a contractor out and called to start the claim. Original claim was denied because there was rain water in the pit of the sump pump ????. Keep in mind, I was not requesting coverage for water damage just the pump. Called again, after service was completed and paid out of pocket because I got to thinking, wtf, thats the pumps purpose. So, they decided they would revisit the claim. Consumers BEWARE!!! I wish I could leave a review for less than 1 star. This company will go out of their way to try and not pay for necessary repairs. Bought a house 8 months ago, got the APHW warranty, now my AC system is completely shot, looking at a $12,000+ bill, and APHW has offered to cover close to $1,700... The main failure part is one of the parts covered in their warranty, but due to that part failure, the system became saturated and is now blowing mold through our entire house... Sharing this to hopefully deter people from falling for the same scam we did. The warranty covers nothing. They will make you jump through hoop after hoop and will still deny the claim for what little the warranty does cover. I highly recommend the BBB investigate this company as it appears to be a scam. I would never do business with this company again.

I wish there was an option to rate this company with 0 stars. We have had truly the worst of experiences with them over and over again. We bought a newer home, thinking we wouldnt really need any coverage. Unfortunately, life happened and we had to file 2 claims one on a dead built in microwave, and one on a condenser for our air conditioner. For the microwave, their claim process was impossible. We had a built in microwave which the company insisted needed to be repaired vs. replaced. The appliance companies literally laugh... read more

No stars. I think this is a scam. The selling realtor added this as an incentive but when the dishwasher leaked causing $15,000 in damages, a leak detection professional identified the dishwasher as having a leaking pump. He provided a written report with pictures and even spoke to **** on the phone in my behalf. But because he could not state WHY the 9 year old dishwasher failed, they denied the claim. Homeowners insurance covered water damage and it only seems reasonable the home warranty should therefore cover the dishwas... read more

This company is a waste of your money. Cost $3300 for a plumbing repair that they originally told me they may cover up to $500(which is already insulting), but then come back once the work was done to tell me that they won't cover it. A leaky pipe in a 120 year old house wasn't covered because we just moved in and it leaked within the first 30 days. Wasn't leaking during showing, any walkthroughs or even at closing. This company is a scam - they will not help you. We had a simple leak from the garbage disposal needing resealing and required a new flange. Our claim was denied. Their policy will replace an entire new garbage disposal but not the parts or any damages that are caused by normal wear and tear overtime. That doesn’t make sense. After speaking to Customer Service associate ***, she sent me a blank email after I asked her to send our policy, and Bridgette was unprofessional, disrespectful and her answer to every question I asked... read more

This company is a fraud. I terminated my contract in July 2024 because of bad service. They auto renewed my contract in Sept 2024 and I am still being charged for it. I just saw on **** today that this company has over 300 One star reviews and I understand exactly why.
