I bought a new roof coating for a house in Pasadena, Md. . Unfortunately, the person who "treated" the chimney, did so to a chimney that was not and is not being used (center of the roof) now for years. During a gutter cleaning by the company, I was informed that I had some pump jack holes in my roof and the plywood was rotten and needed to be replaced. I agreed to have an estimator come out and provide me an estimate. The estimator came out July 12 and told me that he would email me the estimate that evening. Bad. Your Angie's List fine print is erroneous. We were desperately waiting to get our gutters cleaned as we waited for our appt. When Hunter came out he stated its your policy not to remove gutter guards. You did previously ( I used you twice and recommended you to others) My problem is on on Angie's list, it states the gutter guards could be removed for an additional fee. I was unable to use this service. My gutters have a mesh covering. They do not use water to flush the gutters. So the service would have just been the workers using just their hands to clean off whatever might be on top of the gutters, not what is in the gutters. I called Angie's List and they kindly cancelled the $99 coupon I purchased. Angie's List was very kind. I think the woman at Arocon was a tad bothered by my lack of knowing that they don't use water.
