I've always used Bears Transport but I thought I would try Auto Star because they were cheaper BIG MISTAKE. I told them I needed my car picked up between May 10th-May 12th because I was flying out on the 13th. I was told on the 10th still looking for a driver, on the 11th I was told still looking for a driver on the 12th I was told same thing. Our apologies that a carrier was not located in the time frame that the customer wanted, however they did agree to allow us 5 business days to locate and assign a carrier and cancelled the order after only 2 days.

The driver did not have the proper equipment to unload my truck off of his trailer, it fell about a foot into the ground on the right side. Terrible.

We have spoken to the carrier concerning the alleged damage, and were told that upon delivery, the customer himself insisted on unloading the vehicle himself and this is how the vehicle was damaged.

CUSTOMER BEWARE! They sounded very professional. I should have seen the red flag when they immediately charged me more money than quoted. I think it's safe to say they take advantage of desperation. The first driver they sent out DID NOT have the correct equipment to pick up the car - AND left the car blocking the service doors of the shop it was currently parked at. Customer has left out a very key detail concerning her order. Customer was quoted, and booked based on an operable vehicle. We assigned the carrier GTA Auto LLC to pick up the vehicle on the very first day of it’s availability, and the carrier showed up only to find out that the vehicle was in fact inoperable. If you value your money, go somewhere else. Noah Salvini has the process of taking your money down. First they start by giving you the lowest quote. Then they tell it to put a deposit down of $250, that they’ll get a truck to transport your vehicle in approximately a week. A week passes and the story is that they can’t locate a transport for the quotes price and that they may have to increase the estimate by a few hundred. Our sincerest apologies that a suitable carrier was not located in the 5 day contracted time frame. Cx had the option at the end of his contracted dates to cancel and receive a full refund, but he asked us to keep looking. In the end the customer never did cancel his order, and rather chose to dispute the charge with his bank. Rather than us disputing that, we accepted the chargeback, which is the same as a refund.

The price was decent. The communication was poor. Multiple days passed before i knew what day my vehicle was being transported. Then I spent several hours waiting to hear back from the driver who told me he was a couple of hours away and then 20 mins. and after calling the drivers boss, I found out that he was an hour and a half away. Then I was promised that the driver would meet me at 7am and he did not show up until 7:31am. Which made me late for work. Worst experience I’ve ever had shipping a car. Edwin lied to me about the cost, then the dispatcher lied to me about when the driver would be picking up the vehicle. I used another Company that had my vintage auto picked up in one day. Never use Autostar transport!!

We assigned a carrier for pickup, and unfortunately they had a delay of two days, and customer was very well informed of this by the carrier. We dispatched a 2nd carrier before we were informed by the customer that they wish to cancel as they had hired someone else.

I worked with Edwin who stated that he could have my vehicle picked up the same day I booked. Once I booked my appointment and paid my deposit, they tried to up the price on me. When I didn’t agree the the new terms, he stopped all contact. Now that I’m trying to get a refund, they are telling me since I canceled, I can’t have my money back. BEWARE of this company!!!!!!!! Based on my experience, Autostar Transport is too high in cost compared to other transportation companies. Shop around ana compare costs first, and 'Do not give Autostar a deposit', you will not get it back if you find a cheaper company. Also, manager only care about the money, not customer satisfaction. I will never use or refer Autostar to anyone. Other companies do not require a deposit up.

This customer placed an order with us back in April of 2022. They cancelled that order while still under contract. As a courtesy to the customer we offered them credit. In October they placed another order and used the credit that we had given them from the previous order. The new order was scheduled with first available in December. In November they cancelled the new order, again in breach of contract by cancelling before the first available date even occurred. I called Nov 11m 2022 to schedule my car being pick up in Ohio and delivered in Orlando on Dec 28. I gave them a $350 deposit. Will Dec 28 came and went. I kept getting emails and texted saying they were working on it. As of Dec 30 they have no one to drive my car, i gave them 7 weeks notice and a deposit and they totally left me and my husband out to dry.
