Montway is BAD. My car was left damaged in a parking lot with the keys tossed underneath it!!! I was then ghosted by Montway. THEY ARE TERRIBLE. ((I paid for “door to door” service with a specific delivery date and address. None of which was followed.))

If I could have rated this move zero stars, I would have. Car interior was damaged (brand new leather seat was scratched so bad that it’s not even repairable) This was probably done by the driver who had to climb in and out of the car because the enclosed trailer they used did not have an escape door in the trailer allowing the driver to use the door to enter/exit. Seat had a bag on it but it was not the factory bag and as I looked the car over on the outside, I did not see the damage on the seat until the driver left. I... read more

Their driver should have asked for more money when he picked the SUV up, not try to extort more on delivery. The driver saw the items in the back when he loaded the SUV onto his carrier, he drove it! He used the rear view mirror! We both took videos and pictures of the SUV before it left, inside and out. Not a peep about an extra100lbs, blocked views or needing more money! He just drove off! I paid last week Tuesday and set up shipment for a motorcycle It was paid and full and I have yet received a shipping date everyday I call I get a different answer. They are very responsive when they try to gain you as a customer. After that, forget it I was promised my car delivery twice and now they are still trying to find a “driver” Nothing is their fault, they do not claim to be responsible for virtually anything Meanwhile I still sit here after nine days of my car sitting in Tacoma Washington at Matson, soon to be collecting storage charges, which of course Montway will not address. The transport was excellent, but I was unable to get details of the schedule until the day the car was available to ship. Not helpful, as I needed to travel halfway across the US to meet the transport for pickup. On that day, I was initially contacted by the carrier, not Montway, who wanted to pick up the car in a few hours. Would be much better service if they assigned a carrier a few days ahead of time and communicated a pick up schedule.
Started with Montway. Got caught up in a bidding war. Had to drop them all and go back to Montway. My experiencec with other carriers has been horrible. I have to ship my vehicle off to other states for repairs. The michanics are all rats. Once the repairs are done they say they want the car out of their shop. A dependabke carrier is the only reason these rats have not been able to steal my vehicle.
