Called to ask about the prescription and health issue, but did not call back for few days. Called again and they told me they never received a message and the person on the other line will pass on the message. They did call back, but seemed they don’t really care.

I had to fight to even get a script for an antibiotic for a sinus infection. Also wanted to be looked at for potential yeast infection and the Dr literally did not even look at me. Had me do my own swab without any direction. So now 2 weeks later the infection is worse and I've had to pay for another appointment with a different Dr who actually did their job this time and immediately confirmed the infection. I was seen by Dr Taylor but she is not a choice on the drop down menu.

Worst possible experience! on 11/21/23 got sent to Wake Radiology for X-Ray Today is 11/30/23. Nine days later still waiting for someone from Avance Care to call back with results. Have been calling for 4 days now for someone to call back with results. No calls yet. Called their number 919-665-1000 which is supposed to be their local number someone from some other country picks up. Asked to speak to the office manager and they said we have put in the request and someone will get back to you. I am still waiting and still i... read more

Great doctors and great medical assistants and great front office staff are of little use when the overall operation is geared to not respond to sick patients. Every time my wife or I have had a major medical issue on a weekend, nobody returns our calls until Monday. The operation is grossly understaffed. Dr Baskett and Williams are absolutely wonderful from all perspectives but are spread too thin. My last experience could have put my life at risk. I needed a med but it took a day before I got to speak with a PA. The P... read more

He did ok . But I’m very disappointed that I don’t have a MD provider. My health is very important to me. and I don’t feel comfortable just letting anyone else take care of my health. So I will not suggest any of my family members or friends. And if I can’t get an Md then I will have no choice but to seek care somewhere else.

The blood pressure monitors at Avance do not reflect the readings I have experienced for 10 years in various offices and hospitals. My systolic was reported 30 mmHg lower, even after repeated attempts with different monitors at Avance. I had it checked the day before going to this practice at UNC Rex ER and checked it again immediately upon returning home from Avance. Both readings indicated above acceptable Systolic blood pressure (155 vs 125 at Avance)!!!! What is gained by having inaccurate blood pressure monitors?
