The customer service for this company was incredibly awful.
It was not clear that we needed to go to a UPS depot to send results. We dropped off at a UPS site and it was not picked up till the next day. We did not have the results back in time. A colossal waste of time and expensive as we had to change our travel plans ...as no results
Our group of 8 travelling to Hawaii purchased 8 kits, which were promptly shipped to us. We scheduled our observations for 70 hrs before our departure, in order to give the maximum amount of time for everything to complete. Within 24hrs of shipping our completed tests to the lab, 7 of the tests were complete. I inquired about the status of the 8th test and was told that everything was fine and that the lab confirmed they had the test. AZOVA test results arrived 3 days late. My wife and I were traveling to Hawaii for our 25th anniversary. Because AZOVA failed to get us our results in time, we incurred over $500 in additional travel and testing expenses given we had to get to the airport a day early to complete more expensive rapid testing. AZOVA refused to reimburse us for these expenses. I strongly discourage using AZOVA for any travel related testing.
Kits arrived several days late, and could not be used for our date of travel. Both Costco and Azova were contacted but refused to refund the charge, so now I have 4 kits worth almost $500 that are useless to me
Check the fine print if you’re planning on leaving for a flight on a Wednesday these tests don’t work they’re unable to submit the test until Monday not read till at least Tuesday won’t be ready for your flight on Wednesday.
Can’t deliver in a timely manner… no returns even when product not activated … basically Costco stole nearly $600 from my family —
30% of the people who buy this rate it with one star. Think about that. What COSTCO does not disclose is that there is a VERY GOOD CHANCE the test results WILL NOT arrive before you fly to a destination requiring a test, such as Hawaii. Also there is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE for this product. Problem? Crickets Remember the COSTCO 100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEE? God luck with that. Bottom line is if you buy this product, do not expect a timely result.
Honestly, If there was a zero star rating that is what I would give this process. We purchased this product as it had good ratings and was a Hawaii Trusted Testing Partner. However, our kits were delayed 24 hours due to a plane issue with UPS and should have never been sent just regular Overnight - this type of product should have been shipped with Priority OVERNIGHT with Guaranteed Morning delivery. The lab received our tests the day before we were to fly out at 8:20 am and we got results emailed to us at 11:30pm. We alread... read more
