This item says that results will be available within 12-48 hours upon receipt. When I opened the package, it said that results would not be available for up 72 hours upon receipt.
Ordered 4 kits. One of them got lost by UPS. I had to do a $400 1 hour covid test at a location 2 hours away from my home if I didn’t want to waste my family vacation. And I consider myself lucky this 1 hour test was available, a lot of people would have had their vacations ruined.
No way the results could have come back on time for my Monday morning flight to Hawaii from west coast. Product unused and unable to return. Dreadful customer support. Shame on Costco. Very disappointed.
Convenient yes. But when I called in for my family’s appointment, no one came to the call! All 4 of us were waiting until past the appointment time. How frustrating. Then one of the persons was watching tv while administering the test !!! We heard his tv blasting in the background. Is this a joke??? But after we called to chase them down, we finally got all 5 people tested. But geez! How stressful.
I was hoping that this would be a good alternative for my kid who is scared of the nose swabs. Unfortunately due to shipping and processing time they're unable to guarantee results for tests taken within the required 72-hour window.
Our family of 4 bought this and while 3 of us had the same video session at home that went well, my daughter was at work and had her session at lunch break. The proctor didn't show up for 15 minutes. The instructions ask you to login early so she waited 20 minutes, called and messaged multiple times before she got someone on the video. Needless to say it was stressful wondering how to proceed. At least they should show up on time for a scheduled appointment when you are working on a limited timeline for the whole process.
If you want extra stress prior to you’re already stressful pre-trip planning purchase AZOVA. Worst product ever because they use UPS who believes “overnight air” means 3 days later. Had to drive 1.5 hours each way to airport 15 hours before departure to get emergency Covid travel test instead AND pay again. Forget Costco/UPS/AZOVA
Save your money and get another test. It was a disaster , the state of Hawaii did not accept for the “safe travels program “.
We were flying to Hawaii and only had a few options for acceptable COVID testing in our area. The Azova test kits were very easy to purchase from Costco.com, but that ended there. I never received the email from Costco with the 'Voucher Codes' for the Azova Test Kits I purchased. Without the 'Voucher Codes' you can't redeem it on the Azova site...so I had purchased two test kits for $118 each and I couldn't get them sent to me.
