It is very difficult to maneuver this site.. if you don’t have lots of computer skills don’t do it..
I had concerns about using this service, too many ways to fail, but went against my instinct. To inform others, Azova is listed by the states of Hawaii as an approved COVID test laboratory, but if you can't hand deliver your sample and rely on UPS you are taking a big risk. I am not criticizing Azova, as others have, since my limited interaction with them was fine, the issue I have is there are too many ways for this process to fail in a 72 hr window, such as shipping taking longer than 48 hrs, and Costco and Azova recognize... read more
With their reliance on UPS, this is a risky test if you are on a tight timelines. We needed it for Hawaii and a shipping delay meant we had to get another set of tests at the last minute for even more money.
The test arrived fine. Took the test the Friday morning before a Sunday morning flight. Immediately dropped the package off at a UPS distribution facility (not drop box). Checked the tracking number Saturday morning. The kit won't get delivered until Monday, even though the package is listed Next Day Air. DO NOT RELY ON THIS TEST FOR WEEKEND TRAVEL.
Did not make it to the lab in time.....don’t recommend using to fly to hawaii. Had to spend an additional 180.00 the evening before my flight to ensure I could get on my flight.
Complicated system that lacks a complete thorough explanation. Our flight was to depart at 3:45 PM so we need to get our test 72 hours before then at 3:45 PM. However the testing company didn’t accept test after 3:50 PM on the West Coast. Due to that we tried to schedule the next morning at 7am but by that point it was too late. I ordered and next day learned I would not get results in time for our departure. I never received the voucher to get the kit sent and never received a kit. Costco would not go to bat for us to get a refund. REALLY bad service and care for long time customers.
We initially used this product/service in December 2020 and found it to be very easy. Directions were easy to follow and at each step in the process, we were informed of the next step. However, in using it in April 2021, directions differed and we were not offered the same kind of support/guidance. 5 days after submitting my sample, I still have not received the results!
Our packages were still waiting for overnight shipping by the time the 72 hour window had passed, and we had to rebook our flights and pay for separate tests. Absolute waste of money, make other plans for COVID testing!
