Testing was delayed and I almost missed my flight to Hawaii. It was not overnight air as described and the lab couldn’t do any sort of rush on the results. I had to pay for a rapid Covid test at the airport that was $100 more to be able to board my flight.
The test performed as stated, however, the specimens must be sent across the US for processing for those of us on the West Coast. Even with overnight UPS shipping and plenty of dropoff lead time time (4 hrs before cutoff), our specimen was delayed by UPS, who doesn't state why. While this may be out of the control of the company, the lack of a time guarantee makes travel a bit unpredictable. Procedures of receiving the test don't seem like they're been figured out. Never got an email about the test kits voucher numbers. Had us scrambling right before our flights because Costco and Azova kept saying there should be an email, but couldn't figure out who it should come from.
Results were in with 12 hours of arriving at the lab. Make sure to follow the 30 minute no eating, drinking, smoking or gum chewing requirement. Also the instructions say to register your test ID on the vial “day of” do not register until you are on the video call with the observer.
This test has the most convoluted and annoying process to follow. If it was free, I wouldn't recommend it. Need a COVID test for travel? Pay a few extra buck and make an appointment with a regular provider.
I never received my COVID test. Terrible service it’s been 3 weeks. I paid almost 200 and received nothing. Almost ruined my whole trip
This was one of the worst experiences ever!!! I am traveling to Hawaii for my daughters wedding. We purchased 8 kits. First the plane was delayed. I was told it was still enough time. I then finally received the UPS the kits arrived. They then lost my kit at the lab. After 10 phone calls and the disconnect from the phones in some country and the lab. It is impossible to get any real help. The lab only gets notes on the account. There is no way to find out where the kit is. If you want to rely an a test do anything else.
I had to email and call to receive the vouchers. Then you must fill forms online before they send the test kits.
