I've read a lot of bad reviews about Bel. But I have ordered from them twice two years apart and both experiences were flawless. I ordered a bed set and a dining set. Both delivered on time and everything perfect.
Awesome place for inexpensive furniture with folks on a real budget. This review is after my second visit to see Robert for efficient pieces: After having our sectional for five months, it is withstanding many endeavors! I love it so much especially because of Robert's help. We gave him a price range and didn't know we would have our couch two days later! We just moved in a bigger place, a LOT bigger. And a bunch of our older things were just too old and dingy to keep. So we needed to fill all these empty rooms...but still stay within our budget. We went to Bel during one of their sales and we found a nice bedroom set as well as a lovely new bed and dresser for my daughter. The delivery was very prompt . All in all it was a very nice experience
So I purchased a bed and a simple living room set from Bel about five years ago. I must say that I appreciate their ability to not force the upsale. I went here about two weeks ago and it was great to not feel some immense pressure to purchase a $5K bedroom set. I have been able to just check out the inventory and walk away without the immediate need to finalize a purchase for the sake of a sales commission. Much respect to Bel Furniture for their ability to not do the "Do or Die" hard sale.
