I was committed of a delivery date of Dec 2nd, 2021 for a living room set and a dining table in San Antonio. I paid in full, which included the delivery fee. I get a call on Nov 29th, saying that I have not paid the delivery fee completely and on calling the sales representative, he explained that it was his bad. So the difference amount was $30. As others have said, if there was a rating lower than this, I'd give it. Horrible experience. As I type this review, I'm on hold with them trying to exchange a bed foundation for my 93 yr old mother. I'm sure no one plans to return to the call as I've now been on hold for 21 minutes. This, after calling earlier, giving invoice number, being put on hold then being disconnected. Bought over $4000 worth of furniture. A "New" table and chairs among this. Table came in scratched, bed was set up incorrectly, they refused to take my old bed even though they said they would when I purchased everything. Asked them to exchange the table. They sent two guys with a crayon and block of wood who scratched it more. They said they would swap it out. They brought another one and it was cracked in the center. Walked in to look for a sectional and 3 sales people passed me without asking if I needed help. I was able to make it to back of the showroom floor without being asked if I was ok or needed assistance. This is unacceptable. I really saw something I liked but ended up walking out.
We have had the most worse experience with the Bel Furniture Store In Calallen CCTX. After visiting and purchasing a table the sales person promised a delivery of a couple of days to then 3 weeks. On delivery date did not receive a call of a 3-4hr window so delivery person called me outside the door. He waited 15mins and left before I could arrive from a job I worked 25mins away. For the sake of your SANITY steer clear of this horrible company. If I could give this store a negative 5,000,000 star rating I would. I purchased a brand new bunk bed from Bel Furniture. My five year old was at the top and I was going to transition my two yr old to the bottom bunk. I was making the bottom bunk to place my year old when the bed frame snaps. Terrible customer service. I bought a 9 piece outdoor patio set and it came missing all chair seat cushion and all stool cushion. Called customer service believing that would be an easy fix and since they could send the missing cushions but instead they asked me to bring all the packages back to their Warehouse for an exchange. On June 21, 2021, I, Mr. J. Cross, purchased a bed at Bel Furniture located at 3939 Fairway Plaza Drive Pasadena, TX 77505. I thought it was a terrific purchase and received a fantastic deal. So I walked out feeling very confident about my bed furniture purchase. We went to the store on Katy Freeway looking to purchase three recliners. The young lady led us to a back room where the individual recliners were sitting. In order to sit in them to be sure the seat wasn't too long or short we had to step over rolls of flooring and move boxes. The young lady stood back playing on her phone while we tried to get to the recliners. Needless to say we did not purchase the furniture nor will we return or recommend this store. Service and atmosphere were no where to be found.
