The Bel Furniture on Katy Freeway has been hijacked by liars and thieves. This is my third time dealing with them, and the first two times were satisfactory; you can probably still see my positive review of Bel from a while back. Had 3 transactions with Bel Furniture within a year. Only one went smoothly. Always an issue when we want furniture delivered which was it was already sold to a previous customer before we arrived. We will be notified of this by a phone call about a day or so after we complete the transaction in store. Also, be aware that before completing the transaction the sales rep will pressure you to leave a review. Save yourself the headache and frustration by avoiding this company for your furniture needs.

In 2018, A family member wanted to give me a gifting of new furniture. She bought a new railing for my bed, a dining set and living room sofa, love seat and recliner as a set. I called to see if the delivery guys would remove the old furniture. The representative on the phone said you have to ask them. They may do it at cost. They told me they would do it. Purchased a wall bed from here online, picked up the same day on a Saturday from their warehouse in Katy, 44 miles away only to get the item home and the brackets on the rails were all pre installed backwards. Apparently they installed left brackets on both rails and the brackets pointed upward.. Crown Mark SKU: B4655-Q. Called them on Monday and was told I had to return the rails back to their Katy distribution store and they closed at 5pm. Poor quality products, sales associates at Beaumont store are not friendly. They will keep reschedule the pick up time, so do not expect to get your order on time. not professional.

I was committed of a delivery date of Dec 2nd, 2021 for a living room set and a dining table in San Antonio. I paid in full, which included the delivery fee. I get a call on Nov 29th, saying that I have not paid the delivery fee completely and on calling the sales representative, he explained that it was his bad. So the difference amount was $30. As others have said, if there was a rating lower than this, I'd give it. Horrible experience. As I type this review, I'm on hold with them trying to exchange a bed foundation for my 93 yr old mother. I'm sure no one plans to return to the call as I've now been on hold for 21 minutes. This, after calling earlier, giving invoice number, being put on hold then being disconnected. Bought over $4000 worth of furniture. A "New" table and chairs among this. Table came in scratched, bed was set up incorrectly, they refused to take my old bed even though they said they would when I purchased everything. Asked them to exchange the table. They sent two guys with a crayon and block of wood who scratched it more. They said they would swap it out. They brought another one and it was cracked in the center. Walked in to look for a sectional and 3 sales people passed me without asking if I needed help. I was able to make it to back of the showroom floor without being asked if I was ok or needed assistance. This is unacceptable. I really saw something I liked but ended up walking out.
