We had a great experience with Better.com. I found their online interface to be clear, helpful, and easy to use, and the people we worked with (the mortgage expert, the processing expert, and the closing expert) were all friendly and professional. The initial offer we were given had high closing costs, but Better.com has a policy of beating competing offers by $1000, and they lived up to that promise when we showed them the loan estimate from a competitor. We ended up with a great rate at a great price.

I would recommend Better.com to anyone looking for an easy and streamlined refinance experience. Even with a few hiccups (mostly just missing documentation and signatures on my end), the process moved through really quickly. I was very happy with the professionals at Better that were assigned to my loan processing and I am so glad I decided to refinance with this company. I started out with comparative shopping. In the end, better.com met the best offer I had and gave me a generous lender credit, in addition, to lock and close with them. They were available on the weekend when I was doing most of my decision making and that helped. I liked the ability to do everything online. I do wish they had just asked for everything they needed up front. It was a bit annoying to get new tasks assigned every time I completed the tasks they initially requested. While I am an active Realtor and applied to many local branches and mortgage lenders currently and in the past, non of them couldn`t come even close to the rate AND lenders credits. YES, I have $3240 lenders credits choice(its a % of the loan amount, don`t hang up on that #), which I took to make closing costs $0. IT NEVER EVER was offered by any lenders, because they ALL on commissions. Of course! You have a choice between by lower rates but closing costs(prepaid for escrow) aren`t free. I had a great experience with Better mortgage! We got a way better rate than the other local quotes I received by .375%! Everyone I worked with was extremely helpful and kind!

Great Experience. Very competitive rates. I’ve used both Quicken and Better. I like the Quicken interface better, but I got a better deal with Better.

The process was easy and convenient with 95% of it able to be completed by my computer. They provided a great rate and easy to follow steps along the way. So far there have been no issues with my loan.
