The homebuying process is very intimidating, especially to a first time home buyer. However, the team at Better Mortgage was phenomenal and answered all of the questions I had. I would recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a home. Also, the rate I got on my mortgage was outstanding!
RUN NOW!!! I've renamed this company to **********Are you wanting the WORST service? The WORST customer service? The WORST communication ever? Don't worry, if they screw up they will give you $500 after 48 days. No we didn't close at 30 or 45 days. At 48 days Worst.com gave us a $500 credit to close 2 days later. At day 50, we still didn't know if we had a home. The sellers trusted us, and moved 900+ miles away. Worst brought the worst out of me. DO NOT use them!! You'll regret this decision.

The best home loan experience we've ever had! Do yourself a favor and eliminate the stress of in person appointments. This was all done online and by phone. Simple, easy and straight forward.
Wonderful, easy, efficient and seamless process. Went quickly with application to loan funding in less than 3 weeks. Would highly recommend.
This was one of the best closing experiences I've had! Better was able to beat every offer that I got from other companies and the process was fast and easy. I'm very pleased with how everything went.
The amount of calls, emails and texts I received after submitting a rate quote request was unbelievable. Probably at least a dozen a day in the first few days. Completely ridiculous

Some of the better.com staff do not respond to e-mails all the time, and some are great. It, unfortunately, depends on who you get. Some of the documentation they ask for is a bit confusing and there is redundant paperwork at closing ( I filled out the same form at least 3 times @ the title office) but the rate is great and the cost for a quarter point was very low. Overall if I needed to refinance or purchase another home and Better.com had the lowest rate, I would use them again.
As a current management and technology consultant, and former Realtor, I have conflicting feelings about Better. For starters, their process and app is quite wonderful. They give you a few tasks at a time with mostly clear instructions of what they're looking for. If you're an organized person like I am, you'll appreciate this very much.
