Rates, mortgage consultant Koren and closing person David was good, however the processor Chantel is horrible and nearly impossible to get a hold of, and if you do for that one Lucky time, she does not take the time to understand your question and answer it completely irrelevant. We were told multiple multiple times to produce a mortgage statement for our primary house when I clearly told Chantel over and over we own house free and clear. Better.com was outstanding to work with - the process was super easy with the dashboard telling you what was needed (and uploading was effortless) as well as providing status information. Liam A., my loan processor, was excellent - very responsive and professional and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure the process was seamless. Jimmy Q. was also great as the loan closer. The entire loan process with Better Mortgage was completely transparent and simple. Better’s no fees and great rates were a welcome change to the traditional lender I was working with before I found Better. I was a little skeptical at how Better was able to beat the interest rate and not charge any fees but in the end I was very happy with the switch. Better’s team was very informative throughout the entire process and delightful to work with.

This was my first mortgage and I over indexed and applied to 15+ lenders. Better was by far the best user experience and product that I came across. Better was the first lender I locked with and the lender that kept me coming back to because of their online tools and rate. Can't recommend them enough.

Better than most out there (agree with their name), though some small fixes - customer service, transparency, and taking out some troubled employees - would make them great **********?). I never spoke to their sales expert - Fred, not sure who he is but he got the credit for the business anyway. They delayed the closing by a couple of days and their "progress dashboard" did not show the updates even after closing, neither did their closing "experts". Professional, friendly, and timely are three adjectives I’d use to describe my experience with Better. 24 days from rate lock to close, and the entire process was completed online. There isn’t a more simple or straightforward process out there! I always knew where I was in the loan process and the team was readily available to take a call or respond to an email if I had questions. I highly recommend Better Mortgage!
