The experience was a bit frustrating towards the end, mainly because we were moving along great then hit a road block and did not receive to much information as to why. In the end, we moved passed this and closed only one day delayed. The processor was great and worked with me every step of the way. I would recommend better, just expect to have to engage with them often with questions as the experience is mostly online, which I actually preferred.

Our refinance was a breeze with Better.***, from rate lock to loan funding was only 21 days. The rate was very competitive, they even beat another lender by $1000. Once we locked the rate the underwriting process was very simple and you could keep track of everything on their website. The appraiser and notary they selected were also great. I will definitely use Better the next time we buy a home or refinance.

The Real Estate discount is very misleading. It cost us relationships and potentially thousands of dollars. I'm a finance professional who deals with interest daily and not a single person at better**** could explain the program to me up front. We feel betrayed and taken. Other than that - almost smooth. A few hiccups along the way where the better**** could not explain amounts in escrow or calculated the amounts incorrectly. Doubt that I'll use better**** again.
