I got a great deal with Better.com and no other lenders could beat what Better offered. I have a family member with ***** *****and she said *****couldn't even come close to matching Better's offer, let alone beating it. Also, the process was extremely smooth, and everyone I dealt with was very helpful. From start to closing, it actually went a lot quicker than I thought it would. Now I just hope the servicer is as good.

Mediocre experience. While the website is well made, and certainly makes things easier. The behinds the scenes process, especially around the time of rate locking, underwriting, and closing was terrible. Really felt like the customer service was non-existent, and the employees were trying to make my life as difficult as possible.

21 days from starting the application to signing docs. Can't get much faster than that. I researched around, and Better.com offered a great rate. Since it was a refinance, I figured it couldn't hurt to give them a try. Worst case, I end up with another company. The on-line system for Better.com to request information, and for me to respond, is very efficient. The only downside is that it can be hard to talk to someone quickly when you need to. This was my second online mortgage (first was TX Cash Out and this was a refi). Both have been great experiences. Very easy and quick from start to finish. Online account interface is easy, accurate and informative. Better worked with me to make sure I had a good deal, followed through on their best price guarantee and even went a bit lower than that to match another counter-offer from a competitor. Very smooth process and very competitive interest rates, and low refinance cost. An easy choice and a win on every comparable quality. I highly recommend. It took 3-3.5 weeks from first contact to loan funded and old mortgage paid in full.

Better was lightning fast on the pre-approval and offered competitive rates. The UI is also very easy to use, and I only had to speak to a human once throughout the whole process (this is a plus for me since my schedule is tight). However, we did run into a delay the pushed back the close date of the loan for a week and we did not know until the week of the close (very last minute!). Customer service amazing and quick. Was simple to download needed documents. Honored their guarantee of beating any other offer's closing cost by $1000.00. They handled things promptly and I closed a refinance in less than 30 days. Rate and fee was by far the best of any offered. Trust me I did my due diligence and shopped around. Thanks Better
