Get directionsFor the most part, the process was seamless. However, there were some hiccups on the way that unfortunately, led to delay in funding due an unforeseen action item prior to closing. Nevertheless, the website/loan portal is user friendly and Better staff was great to work with!!

I thought overall this was a very seamless process in comparison to experiences in the past with other companies. I liked the ease of collaboration back and forth through the online tasks. Definitely the way forward!

A miserable experience. I received incorrect information on several occasions,. I was not consulted at multiple important deadline points along the way. The software was a nightmare, even when it worked. The people involved were slow to review email communications and even slower to respond. I have 19 emails sent with important information that was never responded to or addressed. Do not consider this company if you have Internet Explorer...they cannot deal with it and its your fault. I would not use them again.
Just got done closing last week(took 16 days from approval to closing). This was the easiest refi i have been through. The website was easy/nice as far as tasks to do! Did not have to talk on the phone to take care of this refi- 99% was done through the website which was very nice! Everyone i dealt with was helpful and had ZERO problem through the loan process.. The only thing i had a problem with was the 2.5 hour closing- seemed very excessive compared to other refi/closings i have done- seemed like we signed the same paper... read more

Disappointed with the overall experience. Poor communication along the way. On the day of closing it took nearly 3 hours to close a very simple loan because people on the better.com teams were not in good communication with each other about a myriad of issues.

Started with another company and was disappointed with there service so I gave Better a try and I'm glad I did everything went smoothly and having an expert with me every step of the way was great. When I had a question they were always there to answer the phone and give me the help I need. And as far as my rate they were able to get me what I wanted.
