Communication seems to be the running theme with this company. It is atrocious to say the least. The only reason they don't have one star is because of how hard their crew worked and I appreciate them so much. The management and sales team is the problem. Every time I needed something to get done, there was radio silence about it, until I bugged them to a point of answering. We had a very disappointing experience with this turf company. The lack of communication was terrible from start to finish. They installed the wrong drains, which was not what we agreed upon. Despite the job not meeting our expectations and sections of turf needing to be replaced multiple times, they repeatedly demanded payment and Bryan Scott (VP of Big Bully Turf) threatened to place a lien on our home. We do not recommend Big Bully Turf based on our experience.

Regarding the drainage and turf issues, we attempted to address and correct each concern brought to our attention, including making multiple visits to resolve them. Our goal is always to deliver a finished product that meets both the agreed-upon scope and the customer’s satisfaction.
I was just advised that they will not be refunding my deposit. They tell you that if you want the rebate from SNWA that they have to come and inspect your yard. Well I could not get rebate through SNWA so I cancelled and they told me they will not be refunding due to not canceling within 3 days of quote. Such rip off company. Do not use them. Terrible business. Free money in owners pockets.

Used this company because it's a women owner and my wife is a business owner as well and I had the worst experience with this company. Not only did they do a shitty job with my turf they are waaaay over priced. They messed up on my yard. Stained my street and driveway and let trash all over my yard. They have poor communication when the crew came out they don't even speak English. I would never use this company again . If I could give Big Bully Turf zero stars, I would. This was hands-down the worst experience I've ever had with a contractor. We hired Big Bully Turf for a very specific backyard project involving paver removal, drainage installation, and turf placement. Their salesman, Steve Rochambeau, assured us the job was simple and would be done in a few hours. Don't do it. Poor installation. Weeds and grass were and are still growing into my turf not just around the ends but in the middle of my yard. Gophers are coming into my yard even when I was told I didn't need gophers wire by their inspectors. They were supposed to return to install that gophers wire once they realized I didn't need it. It get's worse they offer a 1 year same as cash and we paid the amount in full of $20,000.00 2 months before due. We received a notice from Good Leap "nothing good about these crooks" that we still owed $23,098.04. I called these chumps and asked why we still owed the balance and 15.9% interest and they said we needed to pay $98 for county recorder filing of lien. Overall, it was a very frustrating experience. Please be aware of their score on BBB. I wish we would have seen it before signing a contract with them. The product itself is good, but the communication and company services are horrendous. Also know the quality of work will depend on the crew they send to your project. I found out while all crews have the same turf, they do not have the same materials. My husband had Big Bully Turf come out to our house to get a quote for artificial turf. They're nothing but cheesy sleazy salesman trying to upsell you. It's funny how they make it sound like they're turf is extraordinary but yet it's pretty much the same thing everybody else has. Quinton was our sales rep and every time he talked, I sensed bullshit coming out of his mouth. Just so everybody knows their quote was 20% higher than anything we had from five other companies.
