They called me back a few hours later to inform me that the manufacturer no longer made the part and therefore I needed to install a new water heater. I took them for their word. We met a second time so that they can determine which water heater to install. They quoted me at $3400+installation. I asked for the model number. Technician arrived within the time window to provide requested estimate. He provided an estimate for "if the job is done right now" (which I was not expecting), but did not have appropriate ladder for accessing roof. Because this is roof work and accidents can happen, tech was unable to provide a knowledgeable, informed response whether this company was insured and for greater then 1 million nor did he offer a solution to finding this information. Had the furnace serviced, I assumed it was done properly since the tech was at my home for and hour. Apparently all he did was change the filter! I just had my air ducts cleaned and when the guy hooked up the machine to my furnace to my surprise it was filthy!! I prepaid for next years service (the guy told me it would save me $ ) which I will clearly not be using! I will be asking for full refund!

Dear Member, It is likely that the "duct cleaning process" contributed to the situation, as all the dust and debris is "pulled" through the furnace cabinet as a result. I was planning on going with them to install a new air conditioner and furnace replacement, but I decided against it. This is due to what I consider shady behavior when they are sending over their quotes. I originally got quoted for several different options. After reading all the reviews about their work and professionalism, I scheduled an appointment with them for getting an estimate for the AC installation thinking that it would be a nice experience working with them but at the day of the appointment nobody showed up. They didn't even bother to call me and update me on the status during/before the day of the appointment, got to know that they messed up after calling them myself on the day of appointment after waiting for them for an hour.
