We’re excited to announce that we have a new Chief Customer Officer: Walt Weisner. Walt has spent more than 20 years working to delight customers at Silicon Valley’s most successful companies. He’ll be leading our Customer Success, Onboarding and Support teams, ensuring that every Birdeye customer gets the most out of our award-winning platform.
Walt has previously led Customer Operations at companies like RingCentral and WebEx. Most recently, he served as the Chief Customer Officer at the BlueJeans Network by Verizon. There, he led the effort to build a differentiated customer experience from end-to-end.
Walt said that there were a few factors that convinced him to join Birdeye. First of all, he was impressed that we managed to stay laser-focused on customer happiness, even during a global pandemic. Even though 2020 didn’t exactly go the way we thought it would, we still managed to create innovative products and ensure that every one of our existing customers had the support they needed to manage online reputation and improve customer experience.
Walt also noted that Birdeye is without a doubt the premier product in the Customer Experience space. There simply isn’t any other product on the market that allows businesses to manage Reviews, Interactions, Listings, and much more, all in one easy-to-use platform.
Most importantly, Walt was excited to work with such a great team. Even with all employees working from home for the time being, we’ve still managed to maintain the family spirit. Walt couldn’t wait to be a part of the culture.
Even with headwinds from the COVID-19 pandemic, we managed to have a great 2020. With strong leadership from Walt and the rest of the C-suite, we’re prepared for an even better 2021.
