I brought my 2016 BMW X5 for a scheduled oil change on 11/6/2017. On 11/24/2017, we were driving to Cape Cod and, upon parking the car, the oil light came on. Well, let's start with dropping the car off for a scheduled appointment on a Saturday morning at 8:30 am, which took about an hour to meet the service advisor and get checked in. Explained what I was looking for: oil change, tire rotation, inspection sticker and diagnosis of the check engine light. The service department closes at 4pm on Saturday, so by 2:30 pm I called to get a status update. Let a message with the service advisor and received a call back at 3:30 pm. My wife went in for a routine oil change and they tried to charge her $300. The Service Manager will not return your phone calls and they will even go as far as trying to take you to small claims court when they overcharge for their services! Dan MacDonald will try to up-sell you on things you really do not need. Be very careful and stay away!!!
It doesn’t matter what I bring my car in for because there will always be issues, poor communication, car being kept 3-4 days for simple issues or work, parts never in stock (spark plugs, tires, etc..). I could provide details that would shock anyone. Also, I am always worried that someone is going to take my car out for a joy ride.
This dealership completely reneged on the deal as agreed at time of order. Additional $2K cost, and increased interest rate made the three month wait even worse. Sales Manager Rob Picerno single-handedly created the best "don't do business with Gallery BMW" story. I tell it every day.
The following is the WORST and the BEST BMW experiences I've ever had. If you own a BMW in Mass, you should read this. I own a 2016 BMW X5M. I've had the whole car wrapped to keep it like new. My car is immaculate. Aftermarket HRE black rims and the X5M paint is black sapphire. So here we go... You will regret it!!!! This place is a scam and the service is an overpriced joke. They charge a fortune but you shouldn't trust even since things like an oil change will actually be done. My mistake was not checking they had competed the work and filled up the oil before leaving. Because once you leave, good luck getting anyone to acknowledge what happened. Basically, these people are dishonest. I purchased a 2015 certified pre-owned BMW from them. The car was offered for sale at $26,769. I test drove the car went home and sent them an email offering $26000 which was accepted by the salesperson. There was a $750 rebate being offered by BMW USA at the time. When he sent me the first sales summary sheet, it indicated that the rebate was being used to get the price down to $26K.
