Great MFC, starter toner cartridge prints over 1,000 pages This is my third Brother MFC. I kept my last one for 8 years so obviously I've been very satisfied with Brother MFCs. I bought the MFC7360N about 1-1/2 years ago and it's still working very well. I selected the toner save mode to use less toner. (In the print dialog, choose properties, then select the advanced tab, and finally check the box next to toner save mode.) I have found that the print quality is very satisfactory in toner save mode for printing text, but is ... read more

usb cable The printer is working fine and the software was easy to install. But ... when the printer arrived it was missing the usb cable to connect it to the computer. Between reading the fine print on the shipping box and the clerk at the office supply store it became apparent the printer package did not include a usb cable. I'm kind of unhappy about that as the amazon description doesn't say anything about not including this important component and so left me hanging until I went out to the store to buy the missing cable.... read more

Great Printer I like this printer very much and it is easy to install and works like a champ. I did have a question about it when I was sitting it up. I thought the right hinge for the lift door to scan or copy something was broken as every time you raised it the hinge moved up, like it wasn't secure or broken. I called the Brother's customer service and talked to someone I thought should have had the knowledge on this type of printer. I thought wrong as he kept asking me to hold while I guess he asked some body about what I... read more

Good MFC Have 2 of these at work, no major issues with either, dependable and efficient. One will occassionaly go offline and has to be shut off or scanning will not work.

So so disappointed!!!!!!!!! This is my second Brother copy machine. I don't have problem with the first one, though it showed " paprer Jam" but actually there's no parper in it. I bought this new one in mid of August. Only few days, it already showed " toner Low" . I didn't really care about it. However, less than two weeks, it's totally dead and needed to replace right away. I called their customer today, the first customer was nice and trying to help. He helped me found I actually only copied 361 pages. The toner should gi... read more

Installed both USB and wired network on Win XP & 7. On XP, got -5006 0x080070020 error, ran IOLO System Mechanic to clean up system files and registry, reran installer and installed w/o error. PC Print - Speed - Excellent - 5 sec delay, 23 ppm (mostly text with some graphics), rated speed 24 ppm. Quality - Excellent (2pt text readable, 0.25 pt line, ... read more

The good, the bad and the ugly It's very heavy and a pain in the neck to set up. Those cheapskates at Brother don't even give you any cords and the instructions are not very clear. It has to be set up separately for network and scanning. I pity novices who try it. Fortunately, I have a good collection of cords from years of computing and networking. The good part is that it works well. I can finally print from my Android phone and Fax from my VoIP phone system.

Not for Windows RT I purchased this printer to use with my Microsoft Surface RT. It will print, but will not scan. Also, after I received the printer, I realized that is does NOT duplex and it does NOT connect wirelessly to my LAN. I very much like my old Brother Laser printers and wish they worked with Windows RT. Unfortunately, this one must be returned.
