I'm terrified after reading all these horrible reviews & wish I'd read them sooner. The installation guy was a nightmare, literally made me so uncomfortable in my own home. After declining $1000 in upgraded security measures, he insulted me, was very rude to me & my grandmother, and basically told me the security I have "is inadequate" & that I am "wasting my money" by not adding on different sensors & detectors etc Moving, being a homeowner, etc. is already so expensive. They lied to my face about costs.. They promised free installation and no extra costs then came by the next day and tried to give me a bill for $1,200.. the salesperson was disrespectful when I declined to pay that then convinced me my fire alarms were inadequate "beepers" and I had no defense against carbon monoxide. He charged me over $600 for him to install new fire alarms and CO detectors. They also promised I would get a discount on homeowners insurance and a tax break which was a lie. Beware of this company. I signed up for ADT home security, using Bulldog Security Services with a promise of low monthly cost. The technician came in next day & completed the install, after which he proceeded to tell me that in order to actually protect all windows in my house I will need to shell out about $3000 more. We were definitely not ready for that. We signed the contract under the assumption the monthly cost to ADT will cover all sensors. So, as stated in the contract, you have a 3-day cancellation policy. I have never done business with this company. And now after dealing with them, I know I never will. We recently bought out first home. Within 2 days of moving in, they were showing up at our door. We explained that we had just moved in and didn't call anyone to talk about security. But, if we ever changed our mind, we'd give him a call. Do not do business with Bulldog Security. After months of debating with these people about a system that doesnt work and trying to cancel, they offered me a downgrade but "cannot cancel my contract." Scammers and thieves. Stay away.
