Wine was overpriced, even for the city. Bread was ok. Meatballs were great. Ragu was pretty bad. Burrata was great. Ravioli was fine. Overall, you can get a much better meal in the city for less.
Service was abominable. Manager had to clear our plates & after asking for check 4 times we had to go to manager to get it. Not going back
We love this restaurant but had a VERY bad experience this time due to poor seating by a young man at the front and a neglectful, unpleasant waiter. The food was good as usual.
We were there early in the evening on New Year’ Eve. Although we made our reservation more than a month in advance, we were seated at a very cramped table. The food was very good, but the service was rushed and perfunctory. It seemed the order of the evening was “get as many people in and out as soon as you can.”
Noisy with close seating that rather than providing a positive vibe created a cramped, loud, un-relaxed dining experience. In addition to a negative atmosphere, the food quality was low.
We went for location across Lincoln center and convenience was great. Food was meh. Staff did their best with hectic pre-theatre scene
Service was slow, and all over the place to be fair it was Christmas Eve but given that management should have better prepared. The food was so salty from the bread given at the beginning which was dosed in olive oil and salt to the entree just way too much and three other people ordered and everyone’s dish was salty. We had one app, 4 entrees and one drink each Bill was close to $300 I wouldn’t have mind paying that had the food and service been of quality. Would never return.
I have dined here many times. This experience was sub par. The service was ooor this time. Inattentive, longggg wait for food.
It was our first visit and we will not be back. Restaurant policy seems to be ‘pack as many bodies into a tiny space ‘with no thought given to customer comfort. Food was OK
