Been 3 times and really wanted to understand why it’s so crowded. Sorry I still don’t get it. White truffle ravioli was some sort of knock off bland shredding done in the kitchen. (Should’ve known for the price). Must say the dessert saved it. My guests were very disappointed, but it’s good spot for a budgeted tourist looking for a meal and teens going out in groups.
FIORELLO, now one of several competing bistros on the same block, ain't what it used to be. Food is only passable, service is dumbstruck, and the DR is overpacked w screaming adults and their screaming kids. Broadway chorus wanabee servers have been replaced by fast-food counter persons. Their big terrace opposite Lincoln Center is a draw in good weather ... Broadway traffic providing a more pleasant ambiance than their DR does ... but it's winter now. You've been warned.
The only reason I booked this restaurant is because it was near Lincoln Center and we had theater tickets. Expected much more. Grew up in the restaurant business and had a restaurant delivery service in Austin Texas for 30 years. I know restaurants & restaurant food and this was definitely substandard – especially for NYC. 🤨
Service was sorely lacking during my recent experience. Party of 2 with reservations for brunch. It took 15 minutes to place an order for coffee and almost another 15 for it to be delivered. There are so many tables stuffed into every conceivable space as to make smooth movement by anyone - customers and wait staff nigh impossible. Rushed, overpriced, and food just mediocre. Would not recommend not return.

Service was very slow. The dining room was extremely crowded and loud. Food lacked seasoning. This is a tourist trap to be avoided by neighborhood residents. I will not come back.
I ordered a pizza, mushroom and sausage. It was the worst pizza I have had. The crust was just a dry wafer and the overall taste was over salted and bitter. The appetizer sampler my wife ordered , the eggplant was just mushy paste and octopus was tough and tasteless.
