This was a last minute, post- concert dinner. The experience was sub-par with bumbling service, mediocre food. Next time I will look for other better value choices in Lincoln Center area
The noise level was deafening. The tables were jammed together so closely that even if one could have had a conversation it would have included the adjacent diners. The service was extremely slow and slapdash. The few waitstaff around were completely inept lacking the most basic training or understanding of "service". The food when it finally arrived was very tasty The chefs should jump ship. They deserve better. Look in the window before entering, if it's more than a third full, abandon hope all ye who enter here.
There was a fire or some other issue when we arrived at the restaurant. did not eat there - was not open. - please disregard above. Had to put something to submit. We were not notified that they were not open - arrived and saw the chaos. Hope all is well
Food was fine, but the service was horrible. Despite the fact we had a reservation, they sat us in the bar next to the front door. And this must not have been in anyone's section, because we had difficulty getting a waiter. Then, after dinner but before dessert, we lost our waiter entirely; we assumed his shift ended. We also missed out on the famous bucket of chocolate mousse, which apparently was due to a kitchen malfunction. Definitely not returning.
The food was good enough, but the service was terrible. My friend received her meal at least 15 minutes before mine arrived - she was practically finished. I asked several times for mine before it arrived.
As usual, the food was good. We arrived at 1pm for Brunch. They were out of the breakfast breads except for the corn muffins (which are really great). They stopped including any cocktails with brunch, but as MTC subscribers we're supposed to get a glass of prosecco. I asked the manager about it and he said no problem/but of course kind of thing - but the drinks never arrived. The bussers seemed overworked and didn't keep our water glasses full. Of 6 of us, two orders weren't correct. One, the waiter just put in the wrong thi... read more
Very crowded. Tables set to close to each other. Food was very average . Use to be a good restaurant but now is overrated.
Service was lacking. Waitress not in a hurry to take order or make sure we had bread etc. my antipasti choices sat on a plate for 15 minutes before they were delivered. My guest had romaine salad which was not really romaine hearts and had it served 10 min before my antipasti. The only quick thing was when I requested the check. Will not return here other options around and will try them out.
I go to cafe fiorello for brunch to get the lemon ricotta pancakes, but when I was there on Saturday 11/26 it was nowhere to be found on the menu. So VERY disappointed and very unhappy. Unless they put it back on their menu I will not be going back.
