Unfortunately, this is not one of them unless you want to feel rushed or ignored by the wait staff. Always busy, great location. Food is good, not great. I guess a bit of a tourist trap because of what it is near
I went to Fiorello for brunch, before a movie, and the food was just not good. My omelet was not prepared well, at all. It just wasn't a delicious omelette because the filling was stingy and the eggs were overcooked. My friends were similarly disappointed in their eggs and the accompanying "pancetta" bacon which was so salty that it was inedible. We went to Cafe Fiorello before the opera. The location was good and we had high hopes for a good evening out. We had a 5:15 reservation before a 7pm curtain, thinking that would be enough time. We arrived a few minutes early and were seated promptly. We had food ordered by 5:20. We could not enjoy the food because we had to rush because we had opera tickets across the street We went back for dessert and they made up for earlier by not charging for drinks and dessert
Service was almost non existent. A very careless waiter order our food all at once. So the appetizers arrived with the main course. The wine order at the beginning did not arrive to our table till we were almost done with the food. Then she apologized but abandoned out table. Still we gave her 20 percent tip. We arrived at 4 pm on Christmas and they were out of everthing. The food was nothing less than mediocre. The server was very nice, but had to apologize for the restaurant being out of everything. Then when we got to desert, they were out of tart ufo as well! NEVER EVER AGAIN!! Huge disappointment!!
My meal was not hot. This wasn't the first time this happened to me at this restaurant. The pizza was still frozen on two separate occasions.
Service was horrible
Took my teenage granddaughter there for lunch. Enjoyed my glass of wine, but the food was mediocre and the prices were high for the quality of the food. We were both disappointed and wished we had gone elsewhere.
