Menu is much more limited than before Many favorites missing
Location is classic...great people watching and food is good. The experience was ruined by the utter absence of our waiter. We had to get up and look for him...hree times. A simple order for coffee took 20 minutes, Thank goodness we didn't have to get to a performance. Otherwise we would have arrived by the curtain call...
I've eaten at Cafe Fiorello in the past and was shocked by how bad the food was this time. My partner ordered eggplant parmesan, and was served a small lump of zucchini with parmesan for which we paid $25. The presentation was ugly, the portion small, and no explanation for why they didn't bring him what he ordered, instead the waiter dismissed his question with a "take it or leave it" response. Overpriced. Even with a reservation, given the worst table in the restaurant. Food was mediocre. Location good for the ballet though.

It was a frozen product that had been boiled (or, more likely, microwaved) and dumped, still watery and without any seasoning at all, into a bowl with celery. It was a complete misrepresentation and the definition of lazy, don't-give-a-damn cuisin... read more
We waited 45 minutes for the appetizers!
Overbooked, overcrowded, long wait for food, kitchen too busy, diners around us were displeased with long wait and one order was wrong after the long wait.
I took only the pizza. It was nice, but way overpriced. Bad value for money
