I arrived 30 minutes early for an appointment, did all my paperwork and blood work before my appointment time and still had to ask when I’d be seen 30 min after my appointment time. There’s no reason to be on time if it’ll be late every time anyway.
Your Tuscaloosa overbooks appointment times. I was there June 10th. No seating in the waiting room and there were people waiting in their cars. My appointment time was 10:00 and was not called back until around 11:00. The line to checkout, people were back to back into the hallway. I left at 11:45. There was no way to be 6ft. a part. A women sitting next to me commented that she had taken her lunch hour . She did not want to lose any work time. She was there as long as I was. This visit was a complete waste of my time. I was there for 1 hour and 15 minutes and still had not been seen. I do understand that schedules and get out of whack for various reasons, however, common courtesy for your patience's would be to get us the choice to wait or reschedule (rather than throw our schedules out of whack). In this instance, there was absolutely no communication in regards to what was going on.
The wait time in the waiting was an hour from my appointment time. Unacceptable. My time is as valuable as anyone’s at Cahaba Dermatology. Someone needs to revamp scheduling.
The staff was very nice and pleasant. But, the office manager is Cary is very had to get to reply to email or return a call and unorganized. I was excited to find a spa next to my work so I would have to drive to Ross Bridge monthly for my services. I called to schedule services for a friend and me to celebrate her college graduation. and had the services picked out and asked Cary several times to get back with me to confirm all services and times so we could make other plans after the spa day. Wait time to see the doctor is too long. We have other things to do
A large range of cosmetic services and products are offered as well as specials. Doctors seem extremely aggressive in pushing skin care products and focusing on things that the patient is not concerned with. In other words-making money. Listening to the patient first THEN offering products and services would be a better approach, IMO. Back off on being so overly aggressive about making money and more focused on listening to your patient. Nurse/assistant was more helpful than doctor. I won’t be back.
Check in was terrible. Wait time was unacceptable. Doctor visit was great.
Doctor did not keep her appointment time.
